Description

As a FunnelAI Regional Sales Director is responsible for prospecting, acquiring and serving key FunnelAI accounts, including large dealers, dealer groups, and regional/national OEM partners. This person must have an in-depth understanding of FunnelAI’s prospects and analytics platform functionality and be able to articulate the details of the platform technology. While the Regional Sales Director will own the management level relationship with his/her partners, there will be several support teams assisting with implementation, training and day to day partner support. The compensation of the RSD is base salary, commission based on hitting sales quota, as well as payout based on account retention.

Measures of success for this role shall include, but not be limited to

    • Dealer partner acquisition
    • Dealer partner retention (book of business)
    • Dealer satisfaction as measured through Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other surveys
    • Sales pipeline management (process)
    • Travel and expense budget adherence

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop target account pipeline based on prior industry relationships and company priorities
    • Acquire new dealer accounts, meeting or exceeding monthly quota targets
    • Manage negotiations effectively, resulting in win-win solutions
    • Build and deepen relationships with OEMs, dealer groups, and individual rooftops to help close and maintain business
    • Proactively solicit feedback from dealer prospects and customers
    • Provide constructive feedback to Product, Dealer Success, and Integration teams to enhance and improve FunnelAI’s products and processes

Qualifications and Skills

    • Must have 5+ years of automotive software solutions sales experience & relationship building at the most senior levels of dealer groups and OEM clients. (3rd Party, OEM, SaaS platforms, Captive Finance)
    • Proven ability to systematically develop account plans, drive new leads, business opportunities, and close business
    • Thorough knowledge of automotive retail processes and products (including financing, leasing, accessories, and service and protection plan offerings)
    • Significant understanding of dealer tools, including CRMs, desking solutions, and DMS products
    • High level of comfort with digital technology solutions

At FunnelAI, we are bringing new thinking into sales process by connecting our Auto industry customers with their prospects in real-time. The Senior Manager of Business Development is responsible for establishing and building deep relationships with National OEM, OEM field office, allied industry, and key dealer group partners. This consultative role will be involved in longer sales cycles, relationship forming, and enterprise level engagements. Critical to success is ensuring that FunnelAI’s Prospecting and Analytics solutions are an approved and fully supported offering for our Partners’ dealers. This person should have a good amount of experience in working directly with franchised dealers and have a strong understanding of the automotive retail ecosystem. Role will also be looked upon as a SME in industry developments, for both digital and traditional channels.

Measures of success for this role shall include, but not be limited to:

    • Depth of OEM and Dealer Group partnerships, including access to data and content
    • Gaining approvals and ongoing support from OEMs and large dealer groups to integrate FunnelAI solutions with dealers
    • Establishment of OEM sponsored co-op programs
    • Development and execution of tier 1, tier 2 and dealer group aggregated solutions
    • Build, foster, and convert mutually beneficial enterprise level agreements with dealer groups (typically regional or national in size and scope)

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with OEMs and regional OEM offices
    • Work with OEM counterparts to satisfy compliance and gain approval requirements to offer our products to their dealer network.
    • Collaborate with OEM digital and marketing offices to develop and execute co-op programs to cover or subsidize costs of Prospecting Solution for regional and/or national dealers
    • Strategize and develop solutions with OEMs and regional distributorships for tier 1 and tier 2 digital experiences
    • Regularly communicate product and program enhancements as well as major press information to OEM partners
    • Serve as main point of contact for OEM ad covenant compliance, including working closely with compliance teams to influence program requirements
    • Secure data and content feeds from OEM partners
    • Develop strategic dealer group relationships in similar fashion to OEM relationships, including establishing pilots, obtaining hunting licenses, and building dealer group aggregated experiences
    • Project manage OEM and Dealer Group initiatives
    • Respond to and qualify inbound leads from OEMs and large Dealer Groups
    • Proactively solicit product and process feedback from Partners
    • Provide constructive feedback to Product, Dealer Success, and Integration teams to enhance and improve FunnelAI’s products and processes

Qualifications and Skills

    • Must have 5+ years of automotive business development experience
    • Possess a keen understanding of OEM national objectives, OEM field responsibilities and retail dealer / group motivations

Description

The Dealer Success Manager is responsible for product training, relaying best practices, and assisting with process change management as needed in order to ensure dealer success with FunnelAI’s Solutions. In addition, the Dealer Success Manager will participate in the development and continuous improvement of our training curriculum, as well as delivering observed feedback to the FunnelAI organization for product improvement, material clarification, onboarding, etc. FunnelAI Dealer Success Managers are on the front line of our company and we expect them to be an active participant in our evolution!
This position requires an individual who is not afraid to try new solutions, interacting with users on social platforms, being creative in responding to social posts, and helping our customers with training on leveraging FunnelAI within their team.
Responsibilites
    • Train customers on how to use FunnelAI software and administrator portal
    • Regular cadence of dealership partner visits (80% travel)
    • Deliver basic to advanced level training (internal and external) during in-person sessions as well as regular in-person and remote follow up
    • Provide refresher and new feature/functionality training to dealership personnel
    • Present best practices and establish repeatable processes compatible with dealership selling strategies
    • Provide process change recommendations to dealers to allow them to fully take advantage of FunnelAI’s prospecting solution
    • Gather and distill feedback to drive product improvements and recommend product enhancements
    • Present reports and analyses of dealership performance, relative to previous months and other dealerships
    • Assist in the development of training curricula and content updates
    • Maintain industry, product, and competitor expertise
Key Qualifications
    • Thorough knowledge of automotive retail transactions, including financing, leasing, service and protection plan offerings, and trade-in valuations

    • Comfortable utilizing online tools, CRMs, and other software as a service (SaaS) products

Responsibilites
